We are a small charity with an income stream derived from our investments in the COIF charities investment fund. This currently yields in the region of £15,000 a year.
The trustees’ priority is to support small groups and organisations with whom they can build a relationship and to make donations for specific projects that will benefit the lives and experiences of young people.
In recent times this has included purchasing equipment for the BrigHouse residential field study centre, funding a new wet room for families staying at Dodford Farm and supporting educational outreach work through Sudden Productions.
Whenever possible trustees will attempt to visit projects to hear about work in progress and to assess the impact of funds provided.
The trustees meet annually in March to discuss and agree which projects to support. We request that applications are made on this form and returned to info@alfredleadbeatertrust.org.uk by the end of January each year.
